This LUT is based on a film stock whose model name includes the letter 'D', representing 'Dynamic'—a term that perfectly captures its essence. It is distinctive and richly layered, featuring delicate, charming pastel tones that simultaneously convey a sense of warmth and coolness, creating a powerfully balanced tension. In its design, I subtly tinted the highlights with a pale blue hue, shifted greens toward a minty tone, and introduced a measured red shift in the shadows to simulate halation, enhancing the overall filmic texture and color depth. From a practical standpoint, the Daisy LUT performs well whether white balance is adjusted warmer or cooler; in terms of exposure, accurate or slightly overexposed settings typically yield the best results. Recently, I have used this LUT extensively across nearly all shooting scenarios—indoors, outdoors, portraiture, event coverage, and street photography—where it has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and consistency.
